About Bear

William “Bear” Lloyd has centered his entire business model on one foundational principle - treat everyone with honesty and respect. He has sold millions of dollars of real estate with this key principle in mind. During Bear’s career, he saw the stress that sellers had to endure when selling their own home or settling an estate. He founded W. Bear Lloyd Auctions & Real Estate to make this process easier. Bear is a lifelong resident of Abingdon, VA and is an active part of his family’s beef cattle and sheep farm. Bear is a licensed real estate broker & auctioneer and a graduate of the prestigious Worldwide College of Auctioneering. In addition to his extensive real estate career, Bear also has years of experience as a marketing educator and has served in many youth related roles. His favorite place to be is home on the farm.
